“Limitations live only in our minds. But if we use our imagination, our possibilities become limitless.” These words from Jamie Paolinetti, retired American professional cyclist, sit deep in the hearts of the entire Central Montessori Academy community. As schools all over the world were forced to imagine new possibilities over the last two years, CMA has preserved Maria Montessori’s philosophy for education while bringing its students into the 21st century.

The students of Central Montessori Academy participate in a high-quality education that empowers children to learn these skills through a personalized, passion-driven curriculum. None of this would be possible without donors that recognize the important role a quality education plays in helping children recognize their unique talents to share with the world.

What is an Annual Fund?

The Annual Fund allows our supporters to make tax-deductible monetary contributions to support CMA. The Annual Fund bridges the gap between tuition dollars and program needs.

CMA is one of the rare independent, non-profit Montessori schools in the greater Cincinnati area that offers enhanced student services, such as intervention specialists and reading specialists. In addition, we are committed to continuing our art, music, and foreign language programs, even as other schools have had to make cuts in these areas due to budget constraints. Our classroom instructors and assistants are all Montessori-certified, or are aspiring Montessori teachers.

Maintaining these valuable programs, as well as providing ongoing professional development for our amazing staff depends on generous support in giving to the Annual Fund.

Our non-profit school, like other private schools, sets its tuition below its cost and makes up the difference through tax-deductible gifts to our Annual Fund, as well as other areas of contributed support. Gifts to the Annual Fund are used in the fiscal year in which they are received, and provide supplemental funding for the day-to-day operating budget for our school; which may include offsetting the cost of student enrichment programs, teachers’ professional development, benefits, as well as facility needs.

How much should I contribute?

No specific dollar amount is expected. All pledge/contribution amounts are welcome, and no gift is too small.

About Annual Fund Gifts

• CMA is a registered 501(c)(3) organization, and all donations are tax-deductible.
• You can arrange split payments, pay by credit card, or give a gift of stock.
• CMA accepts matching gifts. Your workplace may offer a matching gift program that can double or triple the value of your gift to CMA. Please contact your company for eligibility information and matching gift forms.
